Google Personalized Search - Everyone can rank first

December 7th, 2009 - I though i had a major breakthrough today. I checked my websites and most of them showed improved Google search rankings. I checked to make sure that i wasn't logged into my Google Account, then i phoned one of my clients to check on their computer, they confirmed the change and it looked like the real thing. Then i happened upon an article - Google Now Personalizes Everyone’s Search Results. It seems that the Google Search Results are now partially determined by the sites you visit. This could be a good thing, since my clients check their own search results, they will probably move up in the rankings (on their computers) and everyone will be happy. On a serious note: i think this will be very confusing and i have a feeling it will become an opt-in feature for power Google users.

Why Bleat rather than blog or tweet?
