Datascapes is a web design company located in Hamilton, Ontario. It is owned and managed by Robert Fullerton. Robert has over 20 years experience in the Information Technology sector, designing web applications and managing IT projects.
Datascapes also operates a family on online guides, focusing on charities and fundraising in Canada. The guide business has expanded over the last 3 years to include city guides for Toronto, Vancouver, Winnipeg, Calgary and Hamilton.
The web design business is based on the Datascapes CMS, an easy-to-use content management system. It was designed to be a simple solution for small business, non-profits and microsites. It does not require a complicated server setup and could be updated by non-technical staff. It is a good solution for smaller organizations without a technical support staff, who want to update their own website.
The first version of the CMS was launched almost 10 years ago and it is currently being used to power over 100 web sites. It is used by large organizations with thousands of online members to smaller non-profits and sole propietorships.
In 2011, we introduced a "responsive website" version that better supports the growing mobile and tablet market.
